HOW CAN YOU USE HYPNOTHERAPY TO IMPROVE SWIMMING?

 

 

 

 

An online or onsite therapy session may include the use of hypnotherapy and NLP techniques.

These techniques communicate directly with the unconscious mind and work in a manner similar to reprogramming the software of a computer. 

Over your lifetime you have accumulated a wealth of experiences, many of which you may not consciously remember.

Examples of past negative experiences might be:

 The film Jaws,

Being bowled by a wave at the beach,

Being pushed into a pool

These experiences may still be creating negative associations in your mind. 

This may transpire as: phobias, anxiety, fear or something like motion sickness as the unconscious mind seeks to find methods to keep you safe. 

In a personal swimtherapy session I facilitate you taking control back over your unconscious mind be re-educating in a way that you will become far more confident and able to engage calm, confident, safe and strong way in the water.

Over 37 years I have taught swimmers aged between 3 months and 75 years of age.

I teach and coach the individual according to their very specific needs. I do not deliver a one size fits all plan.

I have the knowledge, experience and skill set to deliver.

As an experienced swimmer, coach and hypnotherapist I know how to be in rapport with my client in order that we can work together at all levels.
